Matt joined COUNCIL in 2025, specializing in landlord representation and project leasing for national, regional, and local property owners and asset managers. With his deep understanding of the retail market and a strategic mindset, he helps clients across Georgia. From large retail centers to neighborhood shopping plazas, Matt provides a comprehensive approach to lease negotiations, tenant placement, and property marketing. His expertise ensures that each property attracts high-quality tenants while optimizing rental income. He works closely with clients to develop strategies that increase occupancy, curate the right tenant mix, drive foot traffic, and enhance the overall value of the project.

Before joining COUNCIL, Matt worked at TSCG, representing both landlords and tenants. His clients have included KIMCO, Slate Asset Management, The Utah Retirement System, Greystar, Rosen Equities, Disc Replay, and Edible Arrangements. He has facilitated deals with local, regional and national tenants.

 

Originally from the Mobile Bay area of Alabama, Matt graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
